This 2006 Alsatian white from Domaine Julien Meyer is unlike your regular crisp, acidic, often boring Pinot Gris. It is medium bodied and has excellent mineral qualities which is a true expression of the wines from this area. Rich and supple in texture, this wine will pair great with brunch fare. Start it out with a Foie Gras appetizer, or serve with roast bird..either way guests wont be disappointed!
