This is an incredibly rich, medium to full bodied white from the obscure varietal “Courbu” indigenous to Southwest France where the little known appellation of Pacherenc du vic bilh lies. Oregon native wine writer Matt Kramer describes this wine with “scents of wildflowers and hints of pear and a surprisingly dense, rich texture.” It will pair great with white meats such as pork and chicken.
