Oregon can really excel at Pinot Gris with its long, cool growing season which allows this grape to slowly ripen to full maturity. Straw colored, with notes of Asian pear, floral and citrus, and a slight creamy style mouth-feel, this white is an exceptional example of just how well this varietal performs in the Willamette Valley. The firm acidity gives it a crisp finish, allowing it to pair well with lighter fare such as chicken, fresh fish or pasta in cream sauce.
