This is a medium-bodied Sauvignon Blanc with all the best qualities of this austere varietal. The grape’s birthplace is  the Loire Valley in France, but it performs well in so many places. We think this one from Sancerre is at the top of its game! It’s rounder and almost fat in style, with herbaceous and green grass notes, perfectly balanced with crisp acidity, but not lean by any means. It’s the prototype of this varietal, folks.
