From one of the only biodynamic producers in northwestern Italy’s Piedmont region, this Barbaresco displays bright cherry fruit, chewy tannins, tobacco, earth, and that je ne sais quoi only attainable in Old World wines. The subtleness of the fruit and the firm acidity sing “food friendly”—the perfect complement to a hardy meal.

Don't drink it! No seriously wait if you can.. This wine needs some age. We tasted it over 2 days in a decanter and it started to open up. I gave it a high rating because it should be beautiful in a couple years. Appreciate the fact that you guys put this in the club, and aren't just sending wines that are meant to be drank right away.

Would agree with the above review, but would add - as with most Italian wines- this is food wine. Meat, Meat, Meat - helps this wine unfold.
